Welcome on the WEB of the CZECH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS (The czech name is "České středohoří"). This picturesque mountains of the volcanic origin is situated in the middle of the European continent, in the northern part of the Czech republic. The area of this range is more than 1000 km2. The highest mountain is "Milesovka" with 836 m above the sea level. There are many hills typically volcano shaped. Their unique appearance is attracting naturalists, painters, poets and all nature-lovers. You can see there besides unforgettable landscape sceneries also many natural unique places, debris flows, rare flowers, animals, and a lot of sights.
